This is a group of African American Skiers, Hikers, Campers, Kayakers, Cyclist, Runners, Indoor Rock Climbers, and overall adventure seekers, who are welcoming to all who have a desire to participate in our events and help to develop and grow our love for outdoor activities. Most importantly, we seek members who are interested in traveling to local mountains, internationally resorts, and throughout the USA to seek the best available outdoor terrain for our activities.

If a fun, not so serious outdoor adventure/challenge with no expectations might clear your mind, pick a treasure that sounds enticing enough to look for. Something like a waterfall or diamonds(?) or some salamanders, maybe an artifact, or just a good time.  It could be a good way to get out and have a nice change.  You might bring pets, cameras, journals, etc.  Even if you don't want to join, I could use suggestions for the adventures.

This group is for Maryland (or anyone who doesn't mind driving) based Urban Explorers. We are people who like to go out in cities and sometimes rural settings and photograph abandoned or dilapidated buildings. We appreciate the history behind each of these buildings no matter how common they seem to most people. This group is for climbers local to Baltimore. I created this group to help build a larger local climbing community. There are a couple local places to try when the weather is decent and two indoor gyms. EarthTreks Columbia and EarthTreks Timonium are the two local gyms we will be using. When the weather is decent there will be outdoor climbing events with camping nearby. There are nearby places like Rocks State Park, Shaffer Rock, and SugarLoaf.

The Chesapeake Sailing Association was founded more than 20 years ago to bring skippers and  crew together to enjoy the beauty of the Chesapeake Bay. We are a Singles Sailing club with fun for all seasons with regular sails and social events throughout the year! We have boat owning skippers and crew. This is a group for hikers of all levels.  We have novice hikes for beginners, which are paced for everyone's needs, under 3 miles, and easy terrain.  We also have weekly hikes that are moderate or strenuous for more experienced hikers.  The hikes will be labeled as "easy" (mainly flat, walking), "moderate" (a mix of some hills and flat trail) or "strenuous/difficult" (steep hills or rock scrambling). Let's get together for some outside adventures! We like to have easy hikes the whole family can enjoy. Hikes will be scheduled throughout the week, including daytime, evening, and weekend hikes in relatively close proximity to Baltimore City. Places like Stoney Run, Irvine Nature Center, Cromwell Valley Park can be explored with little ones. 20s and 30s Hiking Around Maryland offers local hikes that meet on the weekends. These hikes are generally from 2-12 miles and easy to hard.  There are some hikes that will be moderate-difficult to difficult, so please check the skill level of a hike before you RSVP.
