Adventuring is the outdoor club for the Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, and Transgendered community in the Washington DC area. Our volunteers lead hikes year-round, and in the warmer months we do recreational bike rides too, some shorter and others longer. That's not everything though. We are a hiking club in the Washington, DC area which adds to the pleasure of a sociable hike the discovery of the natural and historical aspects of the wayside along the trails we tread. While benefiting from an invigorating hike, time is taken for hike leaders - as well as fellow hikers - to share their knowledge of the flora, fauna, geology, and history of the area with the group.

Let's end the week right with a relaxing paddle on the Potomac. The group will meet at 6pm at the Columbia Island Marina right off of the George Washington Parkway near the Pentagon.
